XV Summer Camp of the Chilean Contact Karate Federation to Take Place in January 2026

The Chilean Contact Karate Federation has confirmed the XV Summer Camp, which will be held on January 16, 17, and 18, 2026, in La Floresta, Zapallar, V Región, Chile. The event is expected to bring together athletes, instructors, and kyokushin karate practitioners from across Latin America for one of the most traditional gatherings on the calendar.

Among the guest instructors, the event will feature some of the most renowned figures in the sport:

  • Shihan Francisco Filho, absolute kyokushin world champion in 1999, widely respected as one of the greatest karate fighters in history.

  • Sensei Zahari Damyanov, absolute world champion in 2015 and a leading figure of the new generation of kyokushin.

The event will also include the special participation of Shihan Emmanuel Ruarte, Branch Chief of Kyokushin South America – Southern Region, further highlighting the international character of the camp.

Activities will feature technical training, practical sessions, and opportunities for integration among practitioners of different levels and countries, strengthening the bonds of the kyokushin community throughout the region.

Registrations are now open, and spots are limited, making early enrollment essential.

The XV Summer Camp is set to be a unique opportunity for learning, discipline, and fellowship, while keeping the tradition of contact karate alive in Chile and across South America.
