XV KWU SENSHI Chile Summer Camp Concludes with Emotion, Achievements, and New Historic Milestones
With deep emotion and pride, KWU SENSHI Chile has concluded the XV KWU SENSHI Summer Camp, held from January 16 to 18, an event that represents a true milestone in the history of our organization and reaffirms the solid growth of Kyokushin within the principles of KWU SENSHI.
The Summer Camp was honored by the presence of world legends of Kyokushin, whose experience, dedication, and martial spirit significantly elevated the technical and human level of all participants. Among the distinguished guests were Shihan Francisco Filho, Director of KWU SENSHI America, World Champion and the first Westerner to become champion in Japan, and Sensei Zahari Damyanov (Bulgaria), World Kyokushin Champion, international instructor, and legendary figure in full-contact karate.
The participation of these masters was decisive in the technical quality of the event, reinforcing fundamental values such as discipline, respect, and commitment to the martial path.
Black Belt Examinations Reinforce Technical Rigor and Seriousness
During the Summer Camp, Black Belt Examinations were also conducted and evaluated by Shihan Emmanuel Ruarte (Argentina), Director of KWU SENSHI Argentina and International Examiner.
Five candidates were placed under observation and must prepare to undergo a new evaluation within a maximum period of six months, reaffirming a clear principle of KWU SENSHI: nothing is granted without merit.
Our organization maintains a complete and demanding technical program that covers all aspects of Kyokushin and reminds us that the martial path requires maximum effort, discipline, and permanent commitment.
Special recognition goes to Senpai Vincenzo, who overcame previous observations and achieved his long-awaited 2nd Dan, becoming a true example of perseverance, maturity, and the spirit of overcoming challenges.
Official Inauguration of the KWU SENSHI Training Center
One of the most symbolic moments of the XV Summer Camp was the official inauguration of the KWU SENSHI Training Center, covering a total area of 11,000 m². A dream that has become reality and represents a new chapter in the technical and structural development of the organization.
In this edition, the event welcomed 120 participants in a controlled format. The organization is already working to expand the center’s capacity for next year, with the goal of hosting up to 250 participants, further strengthening the reach and impact of the Summer Camp.
