Ricardo Luckei, KWU SENSHI athlete, wins Kickboxing World Title in England

Brazilian athlete Ricardo Luckei, member of KWU SENSHI and representative of SENSHI Kickboxing RS and Academia Corpo e Forma (Guaíba/RS), has claimed two major titles at the WKA World Championships 2025, held in Sheffield, England: the K-1 rules World Title and the Full Contact World Title.

The tournament brought together competitors from more than 18 countries and hundreds of elite martial artists, making it one of the most important international kickboxing events of the year. Under the leadership of coach Sensei André Goulart, the Brazilian team delivered an exceptional performance: four fights and four victories, including a technical knockout over a Polish opponent in the final.

In 2024, Ricardo Luckei had already made history by winning the KWU SENSHI World Cup Amateurs, establishing himself as one of the most prominent Brazilian fighters on the international stage. With his victory in England, he now becomes a two-time world champion in K-1 rules, further solidifying his position among the sport’s elite.

“This achievement is the result of years of hard work, faith, and trust. Believing in yourself and moving forward, even in difficult times, is what turns dreams into reality,” said coach Sensei André Goulart.

Ricardo Luckei also expressed his gratitude for the support received throughout his journey:

“None of this would have been possible without God, our family, and the supporters who believed in our project. Representing Brazil at the top of the world is both an honor and a great responsibility.”

The Brazilian athlete defeated opponents from England, Poland, South Africa, and New Zealand, proving the strength and technical level of the Brazilian team. SENSHI Kickboxing RS now boasts three consecutive world titles, confirming its place as one of the leading forces in the country’s kickboxing scene.
