The city of Parral, located approximately five hours from Santiago, the capital of Chile, hosted another important stage of the Chilean circuit with the Regional Centro Sur – KWU SENSHI FCHKC. The event brought together 80 athletes and was marked by a high technical level, strong sportsmanship, and great commitment from competitors, instructors, and families.

The competition was presided over by Shihan Pedro Ruiz and included the participation of various full-contact karate organizations, establishing itself as a true celebration of the discipline in the southern region of the country. Throughout the event, the tournament once again demonstrated the strength of the work being carried out in the region and the importance of regional competitions in strengthening the official circuit.

In addition to the technical quality displayed in each bout, the Regional Centro Sur also stood out for its organization and for the excellent conduct of the participants, reaffirming the values that guide KWU SENSHI both on and off the tatami. Initiatives like this play a fundamental role in preparing athletes for upcoming national and international challenges, while also strengthening the integration among dojos, instructors, competitors, and their families.

In kumite, several categories were featured throughout the championship, from children’s divisions to adult and veterans categories, demonstrating the breadth and consistency of the work being done in Chilean full-contact karate.
