KWU SENSHI JAPAN Karate Kanto Open

Match Report – KWU SENSHI JAPAN Karate Kanto Open 2025

The KWU SENSHI JAPAN Karate Kanto Open 2025 wrapped up successfully, bringing together dedicated fighters, instructors, and supporters for another powerful edition of full-contact karate in Japan. Once again, the event showcased strong spirit, technical skill, and the true essence of Kyokushin — pushing limits, respecting opponents, and constantly striving for the perfect strike.

This tournament, like the regular events held by KWU SENSHI JAPAN throughout the year, was coordinated under the leadership and supervision of Shihan Akira Masuda, Shihan Ryu Narushima, and Sensei Jo Miyahara. Their continuous commitment plays a key role in developing the next generation of strong and disciplined karate athletes across the country.

The competition featured intense and spirited matches, with fighters demonstrating impressive conditioning, courage, and unwavering determination. Every bout served as a reminder that Kyokushin karate is not just about winning — it’s about testing yourself, learning, and growing stronger through effort and challenge.

We were honored to have Shihan Nicholas Pettas and Sensei Takayuki Kohiruimaki as Special Referees for this event. Their presence always brings tremendous motivation and valuable experience to both competitors and spectators.

A huge thank you to all athletes, coaches, referees, families, volunteers, and sponsors who contributed to the smooth running and success of this tournament. Your dedication and teamwork made this event possible and kept the spirit of Kyokushin shining bright.

KWU SENSHI JAPAN continues its mission to build strong karateka, strong character, and a strong international community — one tournament and one training step at a time.

OSU!
