KWU SENSHI World Cup For Amateurs – Applications Now Open!
Ready to showcase your martial arts skills on a global stage? The opportunity is here at the XVIII International Summer Camp 2024, hosted by the KWU International Professional League and the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation (BKKF). Mark your calendars for June 30 to July 7, 2024, for an unforgettable experience filled with intense training, camaraderie, and competition at the KWU SENSHI World Cup for Amateurs.
The KWU SENSHI World Cup for Amateurs will take place on July 4, 5, and 6 as part of the International Summer Camp 2024 schedule:
- July 3: Registration and Judicial Seminar
- July 4: Preliminary Battles
- July 5: Semi-finals
- July 6: Finals during the SENSHI 22 Gala Night
The competition will feature the following weight categories: -70, -75, -80, -85, -90, and 90+, ensuring there’s a spot for every fighter to compete. Each category will include 8 approved competitors.
In the preliminary rounds and semi-finals, fighters will wear protective gear, including gloves, helmets, elbow pads, and leg protectors. In the finals, however, it’s gloves only—a true test of skill and resilience.
Cash Rewards await all participants, motivating fighters to give their best in every match:
- First Battle (Qualification): €1000 for the winner, €500 for the loser
- Second Battle (Semi-final): €1500 for the winner, €1000 for the loser
- Third Battle (Final): €2000 for the winner, €1000 for the loser
The KWU SENSHI World Cup for Amateurs will follow KWU SENSHI rules, allowing all boxing techniques, including spinning backfists and elbow strikes, as well as all kicking techniques, active clinching, sweeps, and throws.
