KWU SENSHI athletes win by unanimous decision at the Camboriú MMA League
KWU SENSHI had a successful showing at the 4th edition of the Camboriú MMA League, held on April 11 in Camboriú, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Representing the organization, young athletes Eric Lameira and Pedro “The Kid” Cougo both earned victories by unanimous decision of the judges, delivering an important result for KWU SENSHI at the event.
Although the competition was part of an amateur MMA event, both athletes competed under Muay Thai rules, once again demonstrating their versatility and competitive readiness across different combat sports environments.
Competing in the 80 kg division, Eric Lameira, 15 years old, added another strong performance to a career that already includes important achievements in karate and other contact disciplines. His victory in Camboriú highlighted not only his technical ability, but also his adaptability in facing new challenges under a different rule set.
Also 15 years old, Pedro “The Kid” Cougo competed in the 60 kg division and also left the event with a victory by unanimous decision. His result reinforced the consistency of a young athlete who has been building an impressive competitive path through karate, kickboxing, and Muay Thai.
The participation of both athletes at the Camboriú MMA League was another opportunity to put into practice the technical foundation and fighting experience they have built throughout their development.
