KWU SENSHI will have two representatives in action at the fourth edition of the Camboriú MMA League, an amateur MMA event scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 11, in Camboriú, Santa Catarina, Brazil, with the event starting at 3:30 p.m.
The participation of these athletes reinforces KWU SENSHI’s presence in different competitive environments and highlights the development work being carried out with young talents who have already achieved important results in contact sports.
One of the confirmed names is Eric Lameira, 15 years old, who will compete in the 80 kg division. Eric enters the event with an impressive record in karate and other combat disciplines. Among his main achievements are being a two-time Brazilian Karate Champion (CBKI) in 2023 and 2024, a two-time Champions Trophy winner (CBKI) in 2023 and 2024, and a two-time Best of the Year Award winner (CBKI) in the same years. He also became International Open CBKI Champion in 2024, was runner-up at the Shinkyokushin Full Contact Open Tournament in 2025, and won the Espírito Livre Muay Thai Circuit in 2025.
Another KWU SENSHI representative at the event will be Pedro “The Kid” Cougo, also 15 years old, who will compete in the 60 kg division. Pedro has built an equally impressive path, having become Brazilian Karate Champion (CBKI) in 2023, Champions Trophy winner (CBKI) in 2023, and Best of the Year Award winner (CBKI) in 2023. In 2024, he earned the title of runner-up at the International Open CBKI, and in 2025 he expanded his record even further by becoming champion of the Shinkyokushin Full Contact Open Tournament, champion of the Coroados Kickboxing Cup 2025, and champion of the Espírito Livre Muay Thai Circuit 2025.
The participation of Eric Lameira and Pedro Cougo in the LCMMA represents another opportunity to put into practice the experience they have built throughout their competitive journeys, now in an amateur MMA event.
