A Technical and Tactical Kumite Seminar will take place on Saturday, October 25, in Santiago, Chile, led by Sensei Guillermo Tapia and featuring the special participation of World Youth Champion Ian Tapia. The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. at América Street 1109, San Bernardo District, and is organized by Senpai Felipe Garrido (@kemono_dojo). Sensei Guillermo Tapia is one of Chile’s most accomplished contact karate athletes, with an outstanding competitive record. His titles include multiple national championships, South American Champion (São Paulo, Brazil – 2020), Copa América Champion (Brazil – 2024), Gold Cup Champion (Montreal, Canada – 2025), Brazilian Tournament Champion (2025), and World Champion (World Cup WKB, Santiago – 2019). His extensive experience in international competition has made him a key figure in the development of high-level kumite in Chile.

The seminar will also feature Ian Tapia, the current World Youth Champion, who recently claimed the global title in Japan. His participation will bring a valuable competitive perspective and modern kumite strategies to all attendees.

The training program is designed to provide an advanced technical and tactical experience for athletes and practitioners of different levels. It will include general and specific warm-ups, technical competition drills combined with intermittent physical work, combat strategy development, and kumite.

This event represents a unique opportunity to train with two outstanding representatives of Chilean Kyokushin and to improve technical and competitive performance in a high-level environment.
