Ian Tapia Scores Second Consecutive KO Victory in Chilean Amateur MMA League
Chilean KWU SENSHI athlete Ian Tapia Hidalgo continues his successful campaign in amateur MMA. On September 12, the young fighter from Dojo KWU SENSHI El Monte, Chile, competed in the second round of the Liga Nacional Amateur R2B, earning another impressive victory by knockout.
The event was held at the R2BFight Club gym in Las Condes, Santiago, Chile, bringing together athletes competing in the national amateur league.
Competing in the 185 lbs division, Ian faced Renato Figueroa. The KWU SENSHI representative secured the victory by KO, recording his second consecutive knockout win in the competition.
The result follows Ian’s successful participation in the opening round of the league, where he also won by knockout. With two victories in the first two stages, Ian Tapia now stands in first place in the Liga Nacional Amateur R2B.
Ian’s performances in MMA add another chapter to an already remarkable competitive journey. The Chilean athlete has built his martial arts foundation in Kyokushin Karate, representing KWU SENSHI in major international competitions, while also testing his skills in a different combat sports environment.
His participation in the national amateur MMA league demonstrates the versatility of his Kyokushin background and provides valuable experience as he continues his development as a young martial artist.
KWU SENSHI congratulates Ian Tapia Hidalgo, Dojo KWU SENSHI El Monte and his entire team on another excellent result. We wish Ian continued success in the upcoming stages of the league.
