First Thanos Dojo Camp brings together over 100 athletes in Sao Paulo
On October 25, the first Thanos Dojo Camp took place in Guarulhos, São Paulo, under the leadership of Sensei Celso “Thanos”. The event’s main goal was to develop the new generation of Brazilian Kyokushin athletes, providing a space for technical learning and strengthening the fighting spirit.
The camp gathered 107 participants, including young athletes, instructors, and coaches from various dojos, all focused on improving their Kumite skills.
The morning sessions were dedicated to technical and practical training aimed at developing combat ability—emphasizing posture, movement, distance control, and both offensive and defensive strategies. After lunch and a brief rest, the athletes took part in an intense round of 50 consecutive fights, putting the day’s lessons into practice.
The Thanos Dojo Camp was a free event, reaffirming the KWU SENSHI community’s commitment to grassroots development and to making high-quality training accessible to all.
With strong participation and an atmosphere of discipline, respect, and perseverance, the event became an important milestone in the growth of Brazilian Kyokushin, inspiring a new generation of practitioners to carry forward the values of Budo and the SENSHI spirit.
