Coaching Seminar Hosted by “Katana” – Veliko Tarnovo

A coaching seminar hosted by “Katana” in Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria) was held on February 1-2, 2025; a successful training camp was held at the dojo of the sports club, gathering nearly 50 coaches and instructors from the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation (BKKF). Participants had the opportunity to improve under the guidance of Shihan Asen Asenov.

The seminar aimed to prepare instructors for upcoming technical exams scheduled for February in various cities across the country. Additionally, a kata competition is set to take place later this year, requiring a high level of preparation. The camp was designed to enhance and unify technical knowledge across clubs nationwide to ensure quality development for young fighters.

The camp included three intensive training sessions—two on Saturday and one on Sunday morning. Special emphasis was placed on the latest technical updates, with all kata thoroughly reviewed and analyzed. Participants had the chance not only to refine their skills but also to exchange experiences with coaches from different clubs. The training sessions led by Shihan Asen Asenov were highly productive. The atmosphere was filled with positive energy, and all attendees were left with enriched technical knowledge.

We wish all clubs and their fighters success in their dedicated preparation for the upcoming exams this month and the kata competition in Shumen on June 7. We believe that the effort invested and the knowledge gained will lead to excellent results and strong performances. We eagerly anticipate future gatherings that will continue to enhance technical skills, strengthen bonds between clubs, and create even more opportunities for professional growth and mastery in martial arts.

A big thank you to Shihan Asen Asenov for his dedication to the coaches and instructors.
