Between November 20 and 24, 2025, the city of Santiago, Chile, will become the stage for the III America’s Cup KWU SENSHI, one of the most important martial arts tournaments in the Americas. The event will be held at the Municipal Gymnasium of Pirque, located in the Metropolitan Region, bringing together delegations from several countries.

General Program

• November 20 – Arrival of international delegations

• November 21 – Accreditation, official weigh-in, and refereeing clinic

• November 22 – Opening ceremony and Karate competitions (Kata and Kumite)

• November 23 – KWU SENSHI Amateur Kickboxing and Sayonara Party

• November 24 – Departure of international delegations

The Karate competitions will begin on November 22 at 10:00 a.m., following the official opening ceremony scheduled for 9:00 a.m. The event will run throughout the day, with a break at 2:00 p.m. and continuation at 2:30 p.m., closing at 7:00 p.m.

Categories

The tournament will feature a complete program in Kata and Kumite, as well as Amateur Kickboxing.

• Kumite: divisions from Children (10-11 years old) up to Master (+56 years old), including Juvenile, Adult, Senior, Veteran, and Absolute categories, for both male and female athletes.

• Kata: Juvenile, Adult, and Absolute divisions, divided by level of experience (beginner, intermediate, and advanced).

• Kickboxing: the KWU SENSHI Amateur Kickboxing tournament will take place on November 23, starting with athlete presentations at 12:30 p.m. and fights beginning at 1:30 p.m.

International Importance

The America’s Cup KWU SENSHI is recognized for strengthening cultural exchange and sporting excellence across the continent, bringing together athletes from different countries in an environment of discipline, respect, and high-level competition.

The event is organized by the Chilean Federation of Contact Karate (FCHKC) and KWU SENSHI Chile – FCHKC Group, with support from KWU SENSHI worldwide.
