Shihan Francisco Filho to Lead Seminars at the 30th Kumite Weekend in Switzerland

From October 31 to November 2, the legendary Shihan Francisco Filho will lead a series of technical seminars in Chur, Switzerland, during the 30th Kumite Weekend organized by Shihan Eddy Gabathuler, 8th Dan in Kyokushin Karate.

Shihan Francisco Filho, 7th Dan in Kyokushin Karate, is one of the most iconic figures in the history of the discipline. In 1995, he completed the legendary 100-man kumite in both Brazil and Japan, becoming a symbol of determination and fighting spirit for Kyokushin practitioners worldwide. In 1997, he became the Heavyweight World Champion, and in 1999, he claimed the Open Weight World Champion title, cementing his place as one of the greatest Kyokushin fighters of all time.

The Kumite Weekend will bring together athletes, instructors, and Kyokushin enthusiasts for an intensive weekend of high-level training and technical immersion, strengthening the international martial arts community.
