Bahia Hosts the 3rd KWU SENSHI State Championship and Technical Kickboxing Seminar

On September 27 and 28, Bahia became the stage for two major martial arts events: the 3rd KWU SENSHI Bahia Championship, held under Kyokushin karate rules, and the Technical SENSHI Kickboxing Seminar, bringing together athletes, instructors, and fight enthusiasts.

The event was organized by the KWU SENSHI Bahia Federation, under the leadership of its president, Shihan Manoel Mascote, who has played a key role in promoting the growth of the discipline in the state.

The Bahia Championship, held on September 27, has established itself as one of the most important state-level Kyokushin events, showcasing high-level bouts and revealing new talents from the region.

On September 28, attention turned to the Technical Kickboxing Seminar, which featured two legendary guest instructors:

  • Shihan Francisco Filho, absolute Kyokushin Karate World Champion in 1999, K-1 legend and an international reference in martial arts.

  • Shihan Glaube Feitosa, the Brazilian Kyokushin Karate and kickboxing legend, known for his technical style and victorious career on the world’s biggest stages.

The seminar offered practical training, knowledge exchange, and technical development, giving participants a unique opportunity to learn directly from two of the sport’s greatest names.

With the successful hosting of the championship and seminar, KWU SENSHI strengthens its presence in Brazil and reaffirms its commitment to spreading the philosophy and spirit of contact martial arts across the country.
