Templo Kyokushin Camp

1st Templo Karate Kyokushin Camp Held in Varginha, Brazil

On March 21, the city of Varginha, Minas Gerais (Brazil) hosted the 1st Templo Karate Kyokushin Camp, an event dedicated to intensive training and the strengthening of martial spirit among practitioners.

The camp was led by Sensei Anderson Rosa Rodrigues da Silva, who shared his experience as a competitive athlete and guided the training sessions throughout the day. The event brought together 17 athletes, including Sensei Rafael Pereira Lima, who took part in a demanding day of physical and technical development.

The training was structured in three main stages. The first part consisted of an outdoor physical conditioning session, focused on improving the athletes’ endurance and preparation. The second stage featured an indoor technical training, where participants worked on techniques using kick pads, refining precision, power, and control.

To conclude the camp, the athletes participated in an intense session of 50 rounds of sparring, putting into practice their endurance, strategy, and fighting spirit — essential elements of Kyokushin Karate.

The event represented a full day of immersion in Kyokushin training, where all participants pushed their limits and demonstrated the warrior spirit shaped through discipline and perseverance within the martial arts.

Initiatives such as the Templo Karate Kyokushin Camp strengthen the martial arts community and contribute to the technical and personal development of KWU SENSHI practitioners.
